Health Psychology
Health psychology services for children and adolescents.
Whole Kids Health is committed to providing dedicated support and programs for children, youth, and families facing medical conditions and/or physical symptoms.
Our health psychology team has expertise in addressing the psychological aspects of both chronic and acute illnesses. We strive to understand the impact of new diagnoses, enhance quality of life, improve treatment adherence, and reduce the overall impact of illness on a child and family’s well-being. By employing a biopsychosocial framework, we consider psychological, social, cultural, and biological factors in relation to physical health and emotional well-being.
Our goal is to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. With your consent, we will collaborate closely with your medical team to establish individualized treatment goals for your child and family, ensuring a fulsome care experience.
At Whole Kids Health, we recognize the connection between physical and psychological well-being.
