Irina approaches treatment from an evidence and strengths-based perspective, empowering individuals to harness their inherent abilities and resilience. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes collaboration, creating a supportive environment where goals are co-created and celebrated. She integrates trauma-informed practices into her work, drawing from training in various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and attachment, behavioural, and mindfulness-based approaches to care.

Irina embraces a therapeutic approach that highly values and integrates parental involvement as integral to children's treatment success. Recognizing parents' pivotal role, she strives to collaborate with families to enhance understanding, support, and therapeutic outcomes.

Background & Training

Irina completed a Master's degree at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she is currently completing her Doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology. She has received clinical training at St. Michael's Hospital, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and private practice.
